ESL? EFL? TESOL? TESL? TEFL? Which one should i write on business cards i'm having printed up? perhaps i could keep it simple like this... (I hope this is OK since i already ordered them.)
First Name Last Name
ESL Teacher
email address
What do you think? Will everyone seeking an English teacher understand this?
Please advise. Thank you. |

"English Consultant"
ESL = in English-speaking countries (Canada, Ausrtalia)
EFL = in Non-English-speaking countries (Korea, Japan)
EIL = English as an International Language
LOL!!
People teach English in Taiwan and Korea and always refer to themselves as ESL teachers, so I don't know what difference it really makes. |

I write "English Teacher," especially when I might be contacting a mixed ESL/EFL audience. |
