Sorry, i couldn't find this in the FAQ, but to those of you that have shipped boxes and whatnot home, what did you find as being the cheapest way?
I only want to send home 1 large cardboard box of stuff that I've accumulated over the years.
thx

Just be prepared for the post office to give you an outrageously high price, even after asking for the cheapest price (even in Korean). Best bet: go with a Korea. Second choice: tell them it's incredibly expensive, and then pick up your box and start walking out the door. My friend did this, and suddenly they realized they could ship the package home much cheaper then they previously stated.
Basically, the post office is like Namdaemun here. You have to bargain, and be prepared to walk away if they don't give you a good price. |
