I have some other issues with this computer, but it's recently switched to large type on most news sites. Other sites, including this one, seem to be unaffected? Is it a resolution problem? Should I pull an Elvis and shoot the screen?

Click 'view' button- select text size, and change to a smaller setting. News sites and search engines can sometimes get really funky appearances when this is setting is way off from the default.
