would someone be so kind as to explain what the differences are between and F4 and an E visa? how do you obtain an F4? what qualifications do you need? what does it do for you that the E won't? can you teach private lessons legally on an F4?
i know i'm not eligible to get one but my korean-american friend wants to teach in Korea and i'm trying to help her.
thanks.
EDIT - fixed. sorry, that should read "i know i'm NOT eligible to get one..."

There is a Korean consulate in Toronto. To get an F4 visa, you need to have been born in Korea. A lot of Kyopos don't qualify. |

NOT TRUE. you can be born outside Korea and still qualify. I'm a korean american who was born in the states and i just received my f4 visa.
Do a search on this site for F4 visa and a lot of posts will come up. read through them all to get a general idea of what to expect. oh, and ignore the ones that list only like 3 things you need to get the visa, you need much more~ and everyone's experience will be different. |

Well, you need to have a cancelled ȣ. It's not very common for people to be on the Korean family registry if they weren't born in Korea. It happens, but it's not common. |
