I could pick it up on my slingbox but I don't swing that way.

Probably be someplace in Itaewon open early on that Monday.

It'll be on SBS sports (channel 45 around here). It starts at 8 am on MONDAY Feb 5- not exactly a great time for those of us who work for a living.

You can also download TVU and watch the game off the FOX channel.

3-alley Pub in Itaewon is having a special where they serve American breakfast food and play the game. I think it starts around 7-8 am. On a Monday morning.

More like British style breakfast food...we don't eat baked beans and fried tomatoes for brekkie in the states. But yeah, that place is great minus the riff-raff that stays out all night on the hill and then trickles into that place at 7 in the morning skunked off their asses. If you can get in on the betting pool in time I would recommend it. I put 10000 on one board and 5000 on another board and wound up winning 500k on the Eagles/Pats game a couple of years ago. Everyone that showed up at 7 sober was completely wrecked by the time the game finished.

In Busan, I've heard rumors that O'Brien's is having something, but I'm not sure yet. Keep an eye on the forums at pusanweb.com. If something is happening, it will be there.

Hey we don't say 'brekkie' in the US, either. Traitour!

I'm curious about people drinking there. I mean.. don't folks have to go to work later that day?

Wink

Touche, Qitty-Qat! Last time I went the majority of those fully intoxicated were 1) Contractors taking a sick day, 2) College professors still on vacation, 3) Hagwon teachers going in to work later in the day drunk as usual. I was fortunate enough to have gotten the entire week off as it was the Lunar New Year.

Yeah, CBS is covering it. I hope to watch it on TVU to get the English commentators and commercials that those who view it on Korean cable will miss...

The Super Bowl game is discussed in more detail on the thread in the "Off-Topic" forum: http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?p=1045805#1045805
