I'm considering a position in Anyang, but have found virtually no posts on the city, and none on the school I am considering. Is this a good or bad thing? I'd appreciate all feedback, especially from those residing in Anyang.

Thank you Very Happy

I live between Anyang and Bundang. Anyang seems OK to me - I visit two or three times a week.

It's not the biggest city but it's decent.

Close enough to Seoul (40 mins by subway) and still has it's share of sights (ok not really but Anyang first street is a decent hang-out for some).

It's a typical Korean shit hole. They're all basically the same. Pollution, drunken adjoshis vomiting on sidewalks, dust, construction, and English teacher dorks.

Take your pick. You can live in this dump or that dive.

Edit - Yeah it's 40 minutes from Seoul on a good day. There's your typical English teacher bar too.

I'm sure you know the drill.

Hi,

I live in Anyang (it's a massive place, do you have a more specific location?) and would say that it's an ok place to live.

Feel free to PM me if you want Smile
