Wonderland Language Institute Eunpyung Gu, Seoul; Kid's College, Kwangmyeung; SBS Kids School, Bundang, Seoul; Poly Language School, Bundang, Seoul
With Wonderland we have heard that it depends on the franchise. The Poly website looks really good but have not sen the school or talked to any of the teachers yet. Kid's College is heavy on the the kindy, which I don't mind. What worries is that there is only one teacher who has been there for any time- a year- and she leaves in two weeks. The other teacher has been there for a day and another is due to start soon. Even the admin is new. All is appreciated! |

Well, your research and perspective thus far looks sound, I think what you might only get here is pot-shot speculation from people that worked elsewhere but under the same school name, or their opinions of what those schools are rumored to be, but maybe not first-hand stuff.
I'd recommend hitting up www.hogwan.com , check to see if there's anything in there on those schools. Talk to what teachers are there. See about a photo or two of the apartment and school. Even if the director takes some pics with his/her cellphone and emails them to you. Otherwise, take the approach of 'no news is good news', cross your fingers and toes, and dive in on what your gut tells you. It's always gonna be somewhat of a crapshoot.
G'luck. |

We've been to hogwan.com, but still can find no information about SBS Kids School. Unless the school is run by the Seoul Broadcast network. Has anyone even heard of this place? |

Is that Poly in Sunae Plaza? If it is, it's right across the street from me. Nice area to live. Don't know anything about its reputation, though. |

I can get you photos of Poly in Sunae. Zzyfer and I live across from it. Send me a PM with your email and I'll send some pics.
The average word on Poly is that the schools are pretty good, but you definately work hard for the money you get. |

Kids College is pretty heavy on the hours for my taste. For 2,000,000 won, expect to do a full day of kindy (5- 40 minute classes 5 days a week and then 4- 50 minute elementary classes 3 days a week) It probably depends on which school you work at but they are all most likely the same. |
