It's the time of year when I start recruiting for Hockey!

If you're interested in playing some ice hockey in Mokdong please contact me. I run a team in Mokdong that plays about twice a week. Our regular times are Sunday Mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Mokdong is located in the Western part of Seoul. The commute from Central Seoul (Yongsan/Iteawon) is about 30 mins. If you live in Shincheon/Hongdae/Edae you are pretty close to Mokdong and can probably cab it in 15 mins or so. The commute from Kangnam is a bit longer but is definitely doable.

We have members of all ages, skill levels, and nationalities. Everyone is welcome to come out and join wheter you're a seasoned vetern or a true beginner. The point of the team/club is to promote the sport of hockey in Korea and to provide a recreational opportunity for locals and expats.

We have a very open and welcoming group and everyone loves to just go out and play for the love of the game. Most of the time we simply play pick-up games which are very informal.

Occassionally we organize competitive games for those that desire the added thrill and challenge of competitive games. We also take part in a league in Bundang called the "Jim Peak Hockey League" (www.jphl.com).

I would love to play but sure as hell not going to buy any goalie equipment. Is there a set that is floating around for people to use?

We have purchased two sets of goalie equipment for the team. Different people have been going in nets each week. If you are interested in playing in nets then you can come out and use the goalie gear that we have.
