Business isn't so good. I dont care, I'm gone after the contact. I'm down to 20 hours a week. I'm mature enough to know that I'm barely earning enough to pay my salary and although I appreciate the time not spent telling kids to shut up and sit down I have replaced it with chain smoking and impulsive posting. Can't get a job or take classes because work might pick up. Now I just have to coast until January.

Sounds good. They're still paying you on time and in full, right? As long as that's the case, just enjoy.

He's talking about a hagwon and you're talking about a uni job. Don't rub it in his nose that you have a better job than he does. It's kind of rude.

Look, I know that. But most uni jobs are 12 hours, and I was, honestly, under the impression that hogwans were in the 18-24 hour range.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude.

In theory 12 hours a week sounds good but now I really get to try it out.
All that time for errands and whetever. Its a little too much, life is a little too rich.

It's ok. We all do it sometimes. I just think it's important to point it out when somebody is rude. I hope that you'll do the same the next time I make a gaffe.

In terms of hours, hagwons are typically 26-30 but only 5-14 students per class and very little prep is expected. University institutes are 18-22 with 8-20 students per class and a little more prep. University for-credit programs are 8-14 hours per week with 30-45 students per class and much more prep.
