Any of you Bundang-ers know of any gyms in Bundang that are open late. I want to join a gym to work out in but I dont get home from work till after 9. Also does anyone run weekend pickup basketball or anything like that? |

We keep trying to get a Sunday game going but it just never happens for whatever reasons.
As for gyms, I asked a similar question before on here. I saw Enspo by the Bundang-Suseo highway somewhere once, and there's what looks like a health club at Cima in Samsung Plaza. I spotted a few smaller gyms around as well, but haven't checked anything out yet. |

ok well if you're ever thinking of ressurecting the interest in the Sunday games count me in. I'm dying to get more active here... I've only been here 3 weeks and i'm itching to do something active. Too much free time I guess. |

There are tons of gyms...the question is what are you looking for in a gym?
The one in CIMA at Seohyeon is Roxy's (formally Bally's Total Fitness) ...undoubtedly the best (scores of cardio machines and fantastic free weights as well as a comprehensive range of circuit training weights machines) ...but it closes around 10-11 pm (I think) and it is RETARDEDLY (yes, it's a word now...) expensive...nearly 200,000 a month if you pay monthly...150,000 if you get a deal...
The YMCA and Hooners are the cheapest at approx. 60,000 a month...but the former is old and dingy and the latter has crap all for weights.
On the main road near Jeongja station there is a gym (forgot the name) at 120,000/ month that has decent cardio and ok weights...
There are two near Migeum (that I know of)...the first is 120,000 a month and has little to offer...
And then there's Heness Gym (above the KFC, 3rd floor)...it's 80,000/month...but the machines are decent...tvs at the treadmills ...it's tiny but clean and there's little waiting for machines. The staff is very friendly..it's open from 6am to Midnight..closed every other Sunday.
These are the gyms I know...happy hunting... |
