My school doesn't take off taxes...they said wait till December, we will take a small amount then....is this normal? How small is small.... |

Talking with a few teachers around the place and none of them pay tax on their earnings. The public schools they work for have an exemption for their foreign teachers. I work in a hagwon and I pay tax.  |

Heh. I mean what country are you from? Also, what kind of school do you work for? If you are an American and work for a government run school, you are exempt from Korean taxes for two years. You don't have that exemption in a private school.
If you're not from America, then I don't know. I didn't bother to research it because it doesn't apply to me. |
