Lately, whenever I order something from a foreign company (usually through Hong Kong), I've had no idea whether customs will charge import dues on it. So far, I've just been brave enough to order the occasional video game (through play-asia, usually). Is there anywhere I can find a master list of what items import dues are charged for? I'm especially interested in video game consoles and toys. |

Contact Customs directly, whether email, phone or in person. they have a booklet that describes all the customs laws, and the import duties they charge, and the categories of import duties.
It's a 20-page booklet, or thereabouts. I grabbed one last time I had to pick up a package from them. |
