Bic, hein. I know.
Anyway, I always say, lock your "bicke" with both a ulock and a good thick cable lock with a quality padlock. Bike thieves are about speed and keeping their tools light. They might come loaded for a ulock or a cable but rarely both. Nothing is fool proof, especially in Toronto and Vancouver, but anything you can do to slow a bike thief down is worth it. I had (and still have) a beautiful Nishiki racing bike with a drilled chain ring and anodized rims and I always double locked it in Toronto. Ten years of frequent bike riding it never got stolen. |
