Dear all,

I'm in Indonesia at the moment, taking a 2 month breather from the land of mourning calm. My dear fiance has hooked me up with a private lesson here, teaching the half Indonesian offspring of a Korean expat (what a wonderful thing full-blown race mixing would be for Korea, but that is another story). Anyhoo, the wee thing is 7 and she is miles ahead of any of the usual hagwon thickies I usually teach. Which leaves me with a problem, I am fast exhausting my repitoire as she churns through the basics. Can anyone recommend anywhere I might look on the web for some material? Alternately, does anyone teaching privates know of a game for 1 student I could try? Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Jaga

Go here: http://www.teflgames.com/ for a good game. I've never tried it but I have heard really good reviews.

If she is seven, she should like song books. Look for a publisher called 'JY Books', they make some really good song books. They are fun and as challenging as you need them to be.

Have you tried writing in a journal or creative writing activities?

Look at Kincheekings guide here: http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=9971

Or, some of my favourites:

I hope this helps. Smile
