How do you respond to someone directly when they reply to your posting? How can you be certain they receive your response and that it simply does not get posted under the same heading?

Use that nifty little button called "pm" below the message you want to reply to. Your message will go only to the intended person. You too can receive private messages, and revel in the ephemeral glow of receiving your very own private correspondence.
