I want to buy a multi regional DVD player while I'm in Korea, but I want to be able to use it when I go home to England. Is this completely impossible, or will it need rewiring or something? I know nothing about electronics, other than Korean electrical stuff has two prongs on the plug, and in England we have three!

You shouldn't have any problem so long as you have a plug converter for the 2-pronger to the 3-pronger. You might want to make sure you have the correct cables, component or s-video or whatever you get. Also, if your TV back in England is PAL, make sure your DVD player is PAL compatible. Most here are, I believe, NTSC. At least the DVDs are NTSC. I'm not sure if that'll be a problem on a PAL TV or not, but I wouldn't think so.

When in doubt, write the manufacturer and ask. And even if it doesn't work, you can find a DVD player here for under 100.000 won (50 quid) so it won't be a big deal if you have to get rid of it.
