Checked back a few pages, and didn't see a thread asking this so I thought I'd throw it out.
Personally, I've only seen a handful of Korean movies, but for the most part those I've seen have been excellent. Unlike anything hollywood's pumping out these days.
Not being in Korea, however, I'm having a hard time learning which movies are worth importing (or downloading), as my Korean language skills are still laughable. IMDB helps, but only if I know the movie's name beforehand. I'm hoping you guys might have some reccomendations for me to try out.
Anyways, my favs (hell, the only one's I've seen!) are
-Oldboy (obviously  )
-Friends
-My Sassy Girl
-Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance
Wasn't overly keen on 'My wife is a Gangster', though it had its moments. Right now i'm working on getting a movie titled 'Silmido', heard it was pretty good. |
