|
|
I've been reading a lot about people who advise bringing sheets from home, because Korean ones are "not what you'll be used to". What exactly are these mystery sheets constructed of/shaped like?? Are they too thick? Made of horsehair? Funny colours? The size of a towel.... I am very intrigued! |

These bed sheets that you are inquiring about are quite different to the North American cotton sheets. They are not actually what I would describe as a sheet, but a bed cover. They are thicker, and drape down to the floor. I would say that they are more "quilt like." Some find them quite comfortable, but I find them difficult to clean, as they are so big. I prefer the "regular" sheets from back home myself. |

Yeah, they're like a thin quilt, and much too heavy in summer. |

They are not that bad. I wouldn't bother bringing any from home. However, they can be a little rough on the skin. |

I like them.
Don't bring any over unless you have allergies and need something specific. Waste of space and weight. |

Bedding is quite expensive here. I'd mail yourself some. |

Bring some from home. You won't regret it.
Like in Hitchhiker's Guide. You are never alone if you have a towel.
Travel around the world. Make sure you have sheets. |

The Korean sheets are like was said, thin quilts. They are great in the winter, but i the spring and summer I find them too hot. Cotton or cotton mixed ones from home are the beat for me. But the bed sizes are different, so get queen or full, and you can rap them around the mattress. Find out the measurement of the bed here if u can. And yes, they are expensive. As I have said, I hate the pillow cases here, adn they are small enough to bring with you. |
