What are the benefits for employees based upon gender?

For example,
Shinhan Bank is adopting a one-year paid leave system for female employees struggling with infertility.

Gesh...how stupid are koreans!? They need time off for sex so they can have a baby! It's no wonder korea and koreans have a bad rep!
Time off and the company pays for it! Hell yeah...good idea korea!

It's about time the women got something here.

The guys get all sorts of company money for hookers at room salons.

My korean female friend works for one of the major phone companies. She has to go with coworkers and help "entertain" people from other companies, as well as their own. Since she is the only female around, even though her job level is the same, she ends up setting up the hookers for the guys. They get laid. She has to "work" to set it all up.

Her compensation = nada.

It's a weekly event for her.

If you only knew how many millions of won from Samsung, LG, SK Telecom, etc go to room salons, you'd be shocked.

And many foreigners would buy a lot less Korean products.

Really. But, Korea is famous for fairness and transparency.
Just stop being so negative. The next thing you might write is that Koreans working at universities receive more pay and benefits than foreigners.

Derrek, stop being so negative.

Wink

Why? On the list of things companies do that might chase off customers, that's pretty low on the list.

Maybe some think Derrek is being to negative or even me but the truth is...many other people also have negative opinions about koreans...especially judging from the posts on this site and hundreds of other WEB sites. Yeah...I also write and post many a negative thing about koreans. But the great things I see and read about in korea get over ridden but the stupidity that they do day in and day out! And the stupidity is NOT from the foreigners! It's from koreans!
It's not being anti korean when someone post negative things...just pointing out the stuff that make life in korea difficult for all. Even koreans say that korea is difficult! Well then...change it!
It irks me when I see Ft's who still get screwed over by hakwons owners and I also don't like the screwing over that KT's also get. But...it won't change. Just like the business practices that koreans do...it won't change.
And something else I saw today won't change...walking along the street today....a young mother mid 20's is holding her daughter who appears to be under 3 years old....the mother drops the daughter pants...holds her in the air with the daughters feet against the wall and lets the daughter poop and pee on the sidewalk next to a coffe shop that has a bathroom in it!!! Coffee shop owner also sees this...runs outside and tears this mother a new butt hole, A$$ chewing big time! Young mother starts yelling at the coffee shop owner also and walks away! I do a lot of walking everyday and see this type of behavior everyday! What is it with koreans!?

You've missed the point. Example: Walmart is an evil, evil company that has done more to ruin the lives of people than the entire collective of major Korean companies can ever hope to accomplish should they ever wish to become evil. And Walmart does this in plain sight. They are fined by the government, sued by cities, people, and organizations. And instead of people rallying against Walmart, instead the masses reward Walmart by making them the largest private employer in the United States, and possibly the world.

I consider a company firing employees because they dared to be asked to be paid overtime, ask to see a doctor because of a work-related injury, or because they wanted to form a bargaining collective to be far more serious reasons to boycott a company than because some company spends a bit of their profits on entertainment.

I hope Derrek has never played a video game because I've been to several trade shows "on the inside" and the hiring of girls to sit around and be pretty at private parties is quite common.
