I found out the hard way today (after travelling and waiting for an hour) that I was at the wrong immigration office. Though I work in Seoul and live close to Seoul (right on the border) my Bucheon address requires me to register with the Incheon Immigration office. Had I known that I would have used a different address, but by then it was too late and I guess I should do it properly anyway.

Fortunately I can use the same form which the officer already applied the 10,000 won fee stamp to. However, I just noticed that she wrote something down on my application (apparently when I was buying the fee stamp):

Incheon Immigration:

1. Employment Certificate

2. Copy of business license

Now I have the business license, but what is this employment certificate I now need? I work in a public school through an agency. I can call them and find out, but wondering if anyone can answer my question sooner. Also, anyone been to the Incheon Immigration lately and did you have these two forms?

I believe the employment certificate is a separate document from your employer that basically states you work for the company on the business license. If you've got the business license then there should be no problem with getting the employment certificate.

Cheers

Incheon is better than Seoul - you never have to wait.

Ended up just using a Seoul address and going back to Mokdong, since it's pretty close to my job.
