So this is my understanding of the matter since I wasnt there.

My friend was out on a double date with a Kiwi and two Korean chicks. He met this guy on a visa run and the guy offered him to come along on a double date with these two korean chicks who practise their English on him.

My friend says ok, and comes along and meets them. He has fun for a few hours and then decides to come and hang out with me in Itaewon with our other friend.

This is when the Kiwi guy gets angry. The guy said "*beep* that, I want to go to a Norae Bang". My friend says Nup, going to Itaewon, had a great time tho.

The guy then cold cocks him in the jaw. My friend didnt even see it coming and it laid him out on the Bitumen. The kiwi guy then runs away. The korean girls are there going WTF?

It fucked up his jaw for a few days and he spent all of yesterday in the Police station explaining the situation and pressing charges.

The cops has the Kiwi's phone number and name, so tracking him down is just a matter of time. However my friend has called the Kiwi and said for him to come down to the police station and sort this shit out. The Kiwi then says my friend swung first. Which is crap because there are witnesses. Anyway I want this Kiwi to hurt.

What should my friend do? For the cheapest yet high yield result?

Why did you have to use the word Kiwi 8 times? Why didn't you just say he got hit by some dork?

Unless dork has some new kind of meaning, I think you're being polite here Kiwi. Even the term DUMB ASS is being kind. This guy sounds like he has a nut loose.

Either that or hadeshorn's friend is leaving a detail or two out.

First, I would not be worried if it were a Kiwi, Wallaby or a Yankee (go Red socks). If I knew the guy and he suckered me, then it would only be a matter of time untill I straightened it out on my own. Hell, if the guy is tougher than him go out and get a kumdo stick and wait for him outside his apartment and then give it to him good.

Well I used kiwi because I didnt want to fill the post up with that guy, or dude, whatever else was there to describe it. Also helps people understand who the characters are in the story.

Sheesh, do you guys have nothing else to do except pick apart terms people use in posts?

Also I dont know this other guys name.

But yeah there were witnesses there, and the best that can be assumed for the assault was that the "guy" was pissed that my friend was going to Itaewon.

All I wanted to know was some advice on what steps my friend should take to exact the best kind of justice.

Also I have been clocked in the head by a NZ'er as well when I was out one time because he was trying to pick up my friend and she was saying Get lost. He swung at her, missed and hit me.

Anger management!

Don't they deport you for that?

Our histories are similar except for this small, but significant historical difference. First, they took all the armed robbers, mercenaries, legbreakers, etc, and sent those crims to Australia. Then, they took all the embezzlers, forgers, draft dodgers, etc, and sent them to New Zealand. Wink

PS: Non-Australasians take note - this kind of thing is by far the easiest way to get a rise out of a kiwi.
