Everyday, the teachers at my school insist that I drink green tea. This is for the "well-being style." I have told them repeatedly that I don't like it. I don't drink coffee or tea, I hate it. But they insist.....so annoying.

Just now, had this conversation.

"Will you have tea?"

"No thanks."

"I think you should try it."

"I don't like it."

"Try it."

Two minutes later, being stared at, seeing if I will drink the tea that has been placed before me. I hate it.....it disgusts me. Save the change, and buy yourself 10 cups.

What to do?

For me it's shik-hye, that godawful fermented rice juice. It looks like dishwater and tastes like rotten rice with sugar. Bleccchhhh! People always seem to want you to "try" things, even if you tell them you've tried it before and don't like it, it just goes in one ear and out the other.

Irritating. Evil or Very Mad

I do understand what you're complaining about, but in a way it's kind of funny. I mean, geez, they just want you to be healthy and refreshed...

For me it's when I'm forced to eat some kind of disgusting western-fusion food that I'm bothered, like fruit salad side dish smothered with mayo. I keep trying to go for the kimchi, but everyone keeps pushing the mayo crap on me instead... not so much anymore, but during my first year it was awful.

Tell them you hate the taste. That is how I got them to stop giving me coffee at my school.
