What are those small things you find yourself greatful for in korea? (that you would never appreciate anywhere else)
I went into my favorite cafe today and was actually pleasantly surprised to find the floor near the john wasn't covered in spit. I was genuinely greatful for that little gift from the etiquette gods.
Anyone else find themselves being greatful for weird stuff in korea? |

Oh, gosh....I fight the "nice to meet you" battle every semester!!!! If I can teach HALF of my students to say "nice to see you" instead of "nice to meet you" I'll be the happiest person in Korea!! |

I taught them all to say G'day, rather than the other bollocks. |

I got one of my kindergarten girls saying "Ya wanna piece of me, punk". It was the cutest thing in the world. |

How about when someone says "have a good day" instead of "have a good time" or when you think someone isn't going to move out of the way while walking but at the last second does - glad I didn't lower the shoulder as I often do |

Had my first belated trip to Costco at Yangie today and realized how well I could eat in Korea if I bothered my arse to go to the right places. |

When people actually wait for you to get off the subway before they try to get on. |
