The other sauna thread reminded me of this story from a few chusoks back. Although the story will be difficult to tell without using the word for male genitalia, so if you see a word you don't understand, it my be my regional slang for the "pee-pee".

Anyway, it was a slow, rainy chusok holiday, and not much was going on. Me and a few buddies were tired of sitting at home all day, and decided to go to a sauna and then go for dinner. But it being the main day for chusok, everything was closed. Absolutely everything, except for the sauna on the fifth floor of this building.

So anyway, we go up there, and outside the sauna there are these two guys in suits, just standing there, looking scary. They gently block us from going into the sauna. But then the sauna manager sees us, asks some guys in the back something, and the big guys in suits move out of our way, and we enter the locker area. (At this point we had no idea what was going on, at the time i had been here for 15 months, and the other two guys had about 5 months between them).

Upon entering the locker area, we see about a dozen or more guys sitting on those big tables gambling with go-stop cards. They are heavily tattooed and have towels wrapped around their waists. And i ain't talking western style tattoos (Celtic braids, fist size tattoos on the shoulder, etc.) but huge yakuza style tattoos, of dragons, or tigers covering their entire backs and torsos, except their arms. Then i kinda had an inkling that we had stumbled on to a ganster sauna.

So anyway, we undress and go into the sauna. Most of the guys are paying absolutely no attention to us, it was my first and only time in a sauna where people weren't staring and pointing at me. Kinda cool, actually.

Now here's the crazy part....

So, we're sitting in one of the pools, and, well, you don't actually atare at another man's 'crank' (When showering for hockey, etc.) but you usually notice it. But, these gansters' had 'cranks' which we couldn't help but noticing. Size and girth were nothing out of the ordinary, but the head of their 'cranks' were bulbous, and about two or three times wider than their shafts. One guy had a ring placed inside the head, the the goshdarn thing must've been 5 inches around. Not like a piercing, but somehow placed beneath the surface of the skin. And it was placed perpindicular to his shaft.

This other guy had the same sorta dealie-yo, but instead of a ring, it was like a bulbous four-leaf clover/flower thingy. These things were almost as wide as buddy's crank was long. Insane. And remember, there is no metal showing, so somehow it's placed inside the head. So anyway, there were about half a dozen of these guys in the water, and they all had some thing which grossly disfigured the heads of their cranks. It was quite disturbing, and i'd hate to be the poor prostitutes who'd have to sleep with these gangsta's.

After about 10-15 minutes, we decided to leave (although normally we'd stay in the sauna's various pools for 45 mins or so). It felt uncomfortable in there, no overt hassles from any of the gangsters-it was like we weren't there. we just figured it was time to go.

We couldn't find a resturant open, but we had all lost our appetites anyway.

This all happend in Cheolla province, BTW. But no Korean friend could explain to me what the actuallt deal was. Although one Korean buddy suggested to me that these guys get it done in prison, for women's pleasure.

Has anyone else seen this?

they do something like that in the philipines where guys get little BB pellets implanted underneath the skin of their "cranks" for "women's pleasure"... sort of like ribbed condoms or the ones with the small bumps on them except underneath the skin... i've also heard stories of it being done with small marble type balls (i'm not sure what they're called but they're bigger than the BB pellets). but i've never heard of actuall rings of different shapes implanted... just reading this story is kinda disturbing i cant even imagine how it woulda looked in real life.

I saw a K-film called "My Boss My Hero" that sort of referenced this.

The titular gangster "boss" has to go back to high school to pass some exams or whatever (with hilarious and violent consequences I might add), and whilst there the whole of his year has to get the snip.
Cue a puzzled doctor pulling beads of his gochu and putting them into a metal dish whilst he and the nurse debate whether it's a a butterfly or a dragon.

The Yakuza in Japan do this with pearls, basically you got a pearl put in (always thaught it was under the foreskin, how naive) for every person you've killed, although I've never heard of other stuff going in...........its kinda like the skinhead thing of having one tear tattooed on your face for every person you've killed (although I think thats just in prison)................................................................................................................maybe they were Yakuza on some sort of 'business' trip....

One thing for sure....gangsters hanging at the sauna on a holiday...they can't be to lucky with the women! Or they would be with one instead of hanging out at a sauna pecker checking!

yea they are just implants underneath the forskin...usually just metallic or other type material balls...

i know a few jo-pok sa-ram and a couple of them have it done and said girls really like it...

If they were Yacuza they probably do alright in Compton on account of their massive savagery and disregard for human life, you're weirdly proud of the 'badboys' from your country tho (presuming you're American)..........although it would be kinda fun some sort of ultimate fighting with gangstas representing for their respective countries........i think you might be onto something.................

The Yakuza are 10x more brutal than the petty street gangs of compton. They also hold wayyyyyy more power. They could buy compton if they wanted to.
