I've downloaded a 2.6 GB ISO file and am wondering what my options are.

I know I could just mount it virtually from my HD using VCD Daemon or similar programs, but I would prefer to burn it and get it off my HD if possible, so...

Obviously a 2.6GB iso file isn't going to fit on a CD, so I'm wondering what would happen if I try to burn using Nero or Roxio:

* will they automatically break the file into chunks and prompt me to insert more CDs, or will the operation fail?

*If the latter, does anyone know whether ISO images can be easily burned onto a DVD?

*Failing that, does anyone know of an ISO burning program that will allow me to burn this file successfully onto multiple disks?

Related to all of the above, does anyone know of a way to look inside an ISO image and see how many tracks it consists of and their sizes?

You have to burn it on a DVD. Just like a CD burn, but a DVD. Nero will do it as long as you have a DVD burner, of course.

This prog will check for corruption and fix some .iso errors and identify what type of .iso it is and make a .cue sheet if necessary. It can also extract all of the files to your HDD.
