the Australian New Zealand Chamber of Commerce get together occasionally at the aussie embassy. Pies and sasauge rolls, and vb, carlton cold and crown lager at 1,500 a bottle

I'll say. I don't care if there isn't a whit of sausage in those sausage rolls. On a rainy day at the footy, the flaky pastry, the tart and tang of the sauce wafting with the sweet greasiness of the meat. Dear God, I'm going to have an accident on this computer chair.. :)

Best thing about home is the fact you can duck into a 7-11 and grab a meat pie/sausage roll + coke for less than 4 dollars at any hour of the day.

Tempted to do so right now (3:30am).. :)

OK boys, rather than sitting around and pulling each others puds, why dont we get this into gear. I would definately appreciate the contact with others of my own species after 2 months spent with the Indonesian in-laws. I propose a festival of beer (fourex and fosters) meat-filled treats and perhaps some rugby as the end of season tour to the UK is coming up in november. Anyone who wants to celebrate our cultural heritage (or lack thereof) in such a way, drop me a PM.

Maybe one of the pubs in itaewon could put on an aussie night. Just cheap aussie beers & pies would be better than nothing

Why don't you approach the bloke that runs 3 Alley pub. He used to live in Oz & has all sorts of stuff related to home in the pub. Talking about Aussie get togethers, myself & a few mates had a footy tipping comp last season & would get together to talk about footy, home etc. That's the good footy code that we play in Westralia. Are the meat pies back at Hannam? Haven't seen them there for months. You can get sausage rolls at Gavin's Sausages, www.gavin.co.kr Gavin is Scottish so they're not as good as Aussie sausage rolls but they're good.
