I've just been asked to do a teaching demonstration in a university here in seoul to a bunch of freshman students. First I'm wondering what level these kids are at, and what they are taught....also what kind of questions should I expect to be asked at the interview....please any help would be gratefully apprecaited. |

Make the demonstration simple by asking simple questions, you choose a simple topic (for example, colors, food, etc). The demonstration will probably be about 10 or 15 minutes.
They ask questions like:
1) what would you do if one of your students is weaker than the others?
2) what are you doing in korea? (sometimes they throw in a shock question to see your reaction. They asked me what are you doing in korea given you are in an industry not related to your study and in a country you have no relation with?)
3) what is the best/worst thing your students say about you as a teacher?
These are some of the questions I remember that I was asked.
Good luck |
