Got it. Played it. Love it.

The only complaint? Perhaps it mirrors its predecessor a bit too much. It's more or less the same game (not a bad thing), but the baddies are badder and the storyline is smarter. Halo 1 didn't really have a storyline. Master Chief chases Covenant around Halo's environs looking for this, that, and the other thing. Halo 2 has a rich plot you can sink your teeth into, and the cutscenes are actually interesting to watch this time around. Definitely worth a second look.

You'll get the chance to do some "neat" stuff like dual-wield weapons and hijack vehicles (fun!), and all the old familiar friends return, probably to most folks' chagrin. Some tough new characters enter the melee, and you'll often be playing from the enemy's POV.

Game. On.

**SPOILER**SPOILER***SPOILER**

One minor disappointment: the Flood's leader turns out to be a..............WEED WITH BAD BREATH??? Give me strength.

Looking forward to playing the pc version; Hopefully there won't be a 3 year wait like there was for the first one (The game was originally meant for pc but when Microsoft bought it up they withheld it from pc so that it could premiere on XBox).

No, it was originally meant for the Macintosh, but that changed when MS bought Bungie.

Ported games are horrible. I can wait for Halo 2 if they do a good job. Consoles are the death of PC games....last ported game I played was Slinter Cell 2....not bad, but obviously a port.

Right now, I am enjoying HL2...got it on Friday via Steam....played all weekend. It absolutely rocks.

Hey...

Bought this game and me and a buddy of mine play it together a couple of times a week. It's bloody brilliant.
