DVD player on my notebook. I want to watch them (DVD's) on my big screen TV. Possible? I see the plugin connections on both the TV and my notebook....white...red...color plugins.
Anyone done it? Possible?
Thank you!

Most likely possible.

Try connecting the computer to the TV (assuming you have the cables) before turning the computer on. Make sure your television is selected for other input, and turn on your computer. Should work automatically.

If not, try:

Start

Control Panel

Appearance and Themes

Display

If you're lucky you'll find something around there to play with.

Red and white are usually audio RCA jacks. You need video so look for:

THe yellow RCA is more likely going to be on your TV
or, perhaps a long shot for your laptop...

If you have those you're in business.

You could also try an Averkey Lite which, I believe, will connect through a USB port.
