A group of blind persons and activists occupied the subway station on line No. 7 yesterday, in a protest that halted transit operations for more than an hour. The demonstration followed the death of a blind man at the station on Thursday. The victim fell onto the tracks and was then fatally struck by an arriving train.

| I feel sorry foe the man dying but really protesting over subway safety for the blind. They should be just as careful as any other person. |
