So my skin has HAD IT with the pollution here and I want to make a batch of my natural moisturizer to hopefully help calm it down...

Does anyone know where to find 100% natural oils?

Ex: tea tree oil, vitamin e oil, rose hip oil, etc, etc, etc...
Also, cocoa butter and aloe vera (not the gel and not the oil, the natural kinda liquidy stuff).

Not the Body Shop crap, the real deal with no additives whatsoever.

I know back in Canada they have shops devoted to this stuff.. just wondering if anyone knows of a place out here to find it or if I'm SOL.
I can ship it from a place in New York but shipping ALONE will cost $102.00 US and I'm not exactly into that, haha.

Thanks Smile

edit: Dawn pointed me in the direction of VitaminLife.com, which was exactly what I was looking for. Low shipping costs too if anyone else is looking.

Try The Face Shop--they claim to have 100% pure essential oils...I don't know if that's what you want, but you can check it out at www.thefaceshop.co.kr.

There's a store here called the Herb Mall but I don't know if you have one where you are.

I order through VitaminLife.com and get products shipped via postal mail (a lot cheaper than FedEx on lighter weight packages). You're legally allowed to import six bottles of essential oils at a time, and as I recall, shipping on this quantity generally costs under $20. Want more than six bottles? No problem. Just place multiple orders. Laughing (Yes, I had three orders of six bottles each delivered on the same day once, but the fact that they were in multiple boxes satisfied customs ...)

I use Lush's "Imperialis" moisturiser it is great. However, it is too expensive to buy here in Korea. So, I get my sister mail me some every couple of months at a third of the price.

Paperbag Princess,

Why? What does the Korean government do which makes it so expensive?

I make my own Very Happy

I'll give you a recipe for free cause well, good skin is every gal's friend <3

Let me stress that everything has to be 100% NATURAL. No additives, nothing but the PURE ingredient.

1/4cocoa butter
1/4aloe vera
1/4hemp seed oil
1/16tea tree oil
1/16coconut oil
1/16rose petal oil
1/16vitamin a/e
To make it easier on yourself you may just want to make 1c and then use these measurements as if I was talking in cups.

Or devide all of those measurements in half to make a half cup.

Keep it in the fridge in a tightly sealed jar! If the contents start to separate, twirl them together with a toothpick.

My skin is pretty damn pissy lately (thanks weather and pollution), so this go around I'm substituting coconut oil with geranium oil, and rose petal oil with lavendar oil.

vitaminlife.com has the ingredients there, but make sure to look into the info to make sure there aren't any additives!

I just placed an order for all the ingredients and got it shipped via fedex for $100.00. W/O fedex it'd probably be around 70ish. These ingredients last quite some time too.
