While I miss my big fun loving family -- the good times and good food -- I do appreciate the total lack of stress running up to Christmas. No shopping. No having buy a plane or train ticket home. No worries about if the weather will make me miss my flight or shut down the highways.
It's nice in a way. And the city won't be shut down the night of Dec 25. You can go out with friends.
