| This was the 4th Christmas now that I have not spent with my family back home. How about you? Personally, I cant say that I miss it that much..its been getting easier and easier to celebrate Christmas away from home. |

I missed three in a row and another one two years before that so I've missed four in total. Then again I'm still 25.
I'm in Canada right now and got to spend my Christmas here...it's good. I wouldn't miss it if I had missed it, but I'm not attached to a great many things anyway. |

This was the first...well in Korea...but it's been a long time since I have spent a Christmas at "home". (likely 9 - except for last year.)
I would have missed that one too but my dad had just passed away and I thought it was important to be there for my mom.
In some ways not being home this year was especially hard but strictly from the Christmas sense I don't miss it that much. It is nice not having to do all of the running around, but I sure do miss the food and gatherings.
(This year we ordered a turkey from the Intercontinental hotel in Seoul. It was actually DELICIOUS and those that said the turkey in Korea is not up to par are crazy...it was one of the best I've had...don't tell my mom... |

I'm not sure...there were 9 of us...we got the "small" turkey...it was $25 a person for the turkey, potatoes, carrots, stuffing, gravy(do not EVER eat the gravy) (one of the guys MADE gravy...it was the bomb...)
I guess it must have been about W160000 but there was turkey left over after 7 Canadians and 2 Koreans gnawing on the damn thing.
A bit expensive I guess but MORE than worth it...I just can't imagine the LARGE turkey...if I had of been in charge I would have bought the large one on principle alone and you wolud have read about 7 dead foreigners CAUSE: gluttony |

I guess 5 for me. Three here (and three Thanksgivings as well) and 2 Christmasses spent in DC, as work would give me the choice to take either Thanksgiving or Christmas off.
And there'll be a few more away as well....maybe. Am thinking next year will be the year to go home for XMas. I'll have the vacation to do it anyways. |

Ten in Korea plus two or three in the States when I was working on Christmas day.
I miss spending Thanksgiving with the extended family far more than spending Christmas with them. |

| I've missed 8 Christmases so far and the last 5 in a row. However my wife (Filipina) and I try to make Christmas as normal as possible especially now that we have a kid (2 1/2). We have Noche Buena on Christmas eve and an another big dinner on Christmas day plus gifts under the fake tree. Instead of a Christmas Turkey we have chicken and I make a huge pot of homemade Chili. |

| It's been ten years since I've been in the states on December 25, but I haven't celebrated Christmas with my family in 36 years. Of course, that's because we never celebrated Christmas, so I'm not missing anything. |

You went to the Anyang function, I see. I followed up on your link and contacted the guy, but made other arrangements, that turned out to be average (eating steak dinner at Uno Chicago in COEX)  . I should've went to that gig. |
