Hey poker fans,

We had a poker night 2 weeks ago...and it was a great. Played from 9-6am. Gonna do it again on the CORRECTION 11th of December. Hopefully start a bit earlier, like 7pm.

The game will be 3000-6000 holdem. Will go all night again. We have clay chips, and a table that will seat 7.

2) COlinC
3) J.IoC
4)J.Hou
5)JackSarang
6)JacksBuddy
7)Cdd5280

PM me with a confirmation that you can attend. Please be 100% because I will save you a seat but I expect I will get more replies than I have seats.

Thanks all

Cya at the table

I dunno who Mike McD is, but the 30-minute sucker line has been around at least since the early 70s, when Paul Newman said it (in the Sting?)

My guess is it's much older, though: like as old as poker itself. It sounds more like folklore than an attributable quotation.

Like poker, liked the movie.
Didn't remember the char's name because I don't usually remember movie char's' names.
The quotation in that movie isn't that significant because I've never seen _any_ poker movie/show/documentary, or been at any game where someone didn't haul out that old chestnut. For them to have done so in Rounders is just another titbit in poker lore.

Hey just because,

When you say down south where do you mean? I might be interested in donating some of my hard earned won to a fellow foreigner or two.
