Welcome kari,

I'm sure we all hope you'll have a wonderful year (or longer) in Korea.

Maybe you can come out to the meet and greet that's coming up in Hongdae.

You'll get to meet other suckers^H^H^H^H^H^H brave souls who have taken the plunge into teaching the basta^H^H^H^H^H cute Korean kids!

:)

Honestly though, welcome to Korea, and please DO come out to the meet.

Hope you enjoy your stay here and in the country.. :)

jae.

I got tired of recruiters saying 'you'll live in a nice area with lots of foreigners.' I'm not interested in meeting a lot of foreigners when I get to Korea, otherwise, whats the point of moving 3000+ miles away?

Is that why you strictly limit yourself to the Seoul area? (where the majority of foreigners are)

Seriously, it makes me laugh when these "I didn't travel 3000 miles to hang around with people from my own country" types ultimately end up spending all their time trolling around Itaewon or Hongdae looking for other foreigners.

Lame.
