It's late night Sunday the internet at my apartment has been down all day. By the contract it says that it's KT Megapass "Lite" service. The modem is also a KT modem.
I called their 080 phone number several times all day Sunday but it just rings with no answer. That's their A/S phone number, don't know if there's another # to ring. Also I don't know if they'll have english service at all.
Is getting the internet turned back on at the apt easy and can they come out quick or is it more a hassle? Also can it be done 24/7 or only business hours? Any help on that experience thanks much. Any other phone numbers to try? Thanks. |

You're freakin' jonesin' man. Relax.
At least where I am they only operate business hours, but can usually come out within a few hours.
Nice they also tell you within a 30 minute time frame when they'll be there.
It shouldn't cost anything.
They should be able to send around an English speaking tech for you.
If you can't get hold of anyone on that telephone number that speaks English call the tourist info line (assuming you're in Seoul) and get them to do it for you. I think the number is 113. They seem happy to call for taxis, pizza and all of this sort of stuff. |

| relax...your in korea now...my tv/hot water/underfloor heating have been bung for about 2 weeks now...no matter how many times i tell my boss it's always met with a grin "okokok"...im thinking the fact that they owe 2 000 000 won in back rent may well have something to do with it. |

I also have a KT server which goes down on occasion.
It will be back soon but sometimes can be a little annoying.
Funny thing was in the previous 2 houses I never hada problem, just where I am now.
They told it has something to do with the suburban server but that sounds like a bit of bullcrap. |

| My KT goes down for a few hours maybe once every other month. Sit tight and fire up a computer game. I think the service number is 100 and then 8 for english service. The one time I called it I was impressed. I got a live english speaking human within 45 seconds and a same day truck roll that came within 15 minutes of the start of the appointed time block. |
