Hello. I am a Korean American interested in entering the field. I'm planning on going to seoul for a year or two as soon as I graduate this December. I was born and raised in the states but I can speak Korean fluently. Is this going to lessen my chances of getting a job? I mean I would imagine that employers would want to hire someone as "foreign" as possible. Should I just go into an interview and speak nothing but english? How often do you use korean when teaching your students? Oh and are there still many jobs available? Many of my family members in korea are against me coming saying that theres a shortage of jobs nowadays.
Thank you very much in advance. |
