EDITTED NOTE: Guys and girls, I am really just looking for ideas on how to get the money from the guy. I have changed the post to reflect that. Honestly I thought I would get the. "get a job and earn the money to get home you worthless bum." But I was surprised to see some of you try to help me out. Thanks again, but lets try to find out a way to get him to pay....the worthless b astard.

Ok I have finally accepted the fact that my prior employer (Yoon's I League English Academy in Pyong'Taek, just for the record) is not going to pay for my air fare home. They had to break my contract at the end of Feb, due to a lack of funds. They promised, after much discussion, that they would pay me 5.5 million won (airfare, severence, a recruiters fee and payment for the month of March.) It was supposed to be paid April 1st. I got 1 million and a promise of further payment April 15th. April 15th came with a sorry and a promise for April 22nd (today) with that I got another sorry and a promise for this Friday.
I have been cool about all if it. I like the guy and I know he is having money problems, and he would pay if he had the cash.
I put no further stock in his ability to pay without cohersion. Any ideas would help.

this may sound cold but why not report yourself to immigration and have them deport you. Your visa has likely been canceled so you're illegal let them pick up the tab.

I am intreged, some questions though;
Who will pay for the airfare? Immigration?
Will they send me home on a chicken/cargo plane?
Any chance I will be stuffed onto a boat with a 100 Bangaldesies?
More info is needed...

and my visa is not cancelled.

You could go bash a granny...... Shocked

I'd help you out if I was there - fly out on the 28th - but it would be a loan, not a freebie.

Edit: I'm too soft when people have problems - I always feel the need to help out.

OK guys...I wasnt really looking for the money. Although I appreciate the offer of generosity, the post was more to get some idea of how to get the cash from him. I did get the idea of the debt collector, which from what I hear are feared by most Koreans. So I am gonna wait till Friday to see what happens.

Again thanks, but me being the Donkey and all, it was more of a "Hey Look at me thing"

Most of you guys/girls rock...
