The game has two strikes against it right from the start:
1. It's based on a so-so franchise (Pitch Black was interesting, but Chronicles was pretty lame for the most part).
2. It's coming out just after Doom3 and HL2, so it's not getting the publicity it could (or should).
That's a shame because it's a real hidden gem of a game.
It's an FPS, but it plays like a Doom3/Splinter Cell hybrid. FPS down dark corridors, but with stealth and special moves components.
It also has some features I've never seen before in a game, under the 'extra content' heading. Finding items in the game unlocks extra content such as a 'making of' video, concept art, movie stills, etc.
If you've already played Doom3 and HL2 and are looking for more, check it out. |

| Yeah, that game is getting some SICK reviews, but on the other hand, it doesn't seem to have much replay value and no multiplayer. Wouldn't pay money for it, but might upload it. |

| Yeah, it's definitely its Achilles Heel, but at the same time it's priced cheaper than your average new game on both Xbox and PC platforms. |
