Is this normal?

If I work for November, and they pay me the money on the 15th of the next month. I work for December and they pay me January 15th, and so on ,and so on. Is this a standard payment schedule for a full-time job?

Most that I've seen are paid 10 days after month end, but 15 days is not unheard of.

I think that as long as you are paid every 30 days the labor board will have no problem with your pay schedule.

The 15th is a bit late in the month to be paid for the previous month but as long as you're paid, it shouldn't be cause for alarm.

Cheers

Yes, it is normal. They need the tuition from the parents to pay you.

Its also one month between each paycheck...no big deal if the pay comes on the 15th, 18th, 10th or 1st now is it?

As long as it is on the same day everymonth.

I work for Y.....e.

They pay on the fifteenth and it's not because they NEED the tuition from parents. Sometimes it is the norm.

As others have said as long as it is consistent you should have nothing to worry about. A bit rough though waiting 6 weeks for your first pay.

were you hired on the 15th?
usually you are paid according to your hire date...and the first two weeks were just carried over to the next month.
