There are tons of reality shows elsewhere in the world, and I find Korea to be one of the greatest of imitators - but I haven't seen a reality show produced here...Has anyone else seen any?? Maybe no-one has time for that kind of stuff...what with uni/military service/partner-hunting/marriage and work/work/work... Could we even imagine a Korean reality show - what would it be like??

I think many Koreans don't wanna make asses out of themselves on national TV. It's not too much of a reach for them to invite a camera into their home and stuff, but anything more than that is.

There was one show in which two singles got set up on a blind date, and then one of them waits to see if the other is interested and meets on a ship.

But who knows, maybe we'll see a Korean "Survivor" or "The Bachelor."

They have been doing a quasi-reality show where someone is given 10,000 won and then has to try to get by a week without spending more than that.

You guys ever see that show "The English teachers"? It follows the lives of ESL teachers in Taiwan. Its actually interesting... But of course, they mostly pick the pretty people. Aside from the Hagwon thing, I can't imagine what it would have been liek to have a tv crew follow me around. They would have had to cut out the hours i spent sitting on my butt in my messy apartment on Dave's. That is if they could have fit the camera equipment in my apartment.
