I'm wanting to increase the RAM on my TG Dreambook, but I've never done it. I'm looking at Danawa.co.kr and seeing four different brands: Samsung, KingMax, Hinux and TMTC.

Is one of these better than the others? Or is there a brand on there that I'm missing? Also, how do I figure out what RAM I have now? I know it's 256MB, but not sure if it's PC2700, PC3200, or whatever. If possible, I'd like to just add 512MB to whatever I have now.

I've never messed with a laptop before, so thanks for the info all.

Open up the RAM slot in the bottom of the machine (should be near center) and take that stick with you down to Yongsan. That, or copy the numbers off of the RAM and take it with you down there. You will have to remove it either way....easy peezy. You will see when you get inside.

As far as makes, just go with a brand name...another stick of whatever is in there would be the safest bet.
