There are so many things that are just wrong about this... I still don't even understand why they were so light on her. I don't remember the case that well, but the evidence against Bernardo was overwhelming. Anyhow, it's sick to think that she's gonna be out, and will probably be able to make a bunch of cash off of book royalties or something (I hope there's some kind of law about that). |

Well, its ABOUT time. I give her 6 months before she is found, lynched and found dead. No more easy prison life. Its time for justice. The government failed to hand out justice to this monster. She deserved the most horrible conditions. Instead she got to live in relative luxury. Hell, she deserved to be hanged. Well, 12 years have passed and I KNOW for a fact that people are still angry at her, still cant forgive her, and that there are those hell bent on handing out the justice she deserves. I do hope that she is found, and eliminated from this earth in the same way as her victims. An eye for an eye in this case is more than justified. I dont think that the French family have anything to worry. Karla Homolka wont be showing up anywhere near Eatons Center or anywhere near the GTA. She would be a walking target. Her only option is some remote community where people have not heard about this case (almost imposible) or have pretty much forgotten it. But she will eventually be found. |

I remember a few years back she was up for possible parole and indicated she wanted to be in a halfway house in Montreal, Notre Dame De Grace (NDG) to be precise. No sooner had the news broken and the 'hood mobilized: NO FRICKIN' WAY.
They wisely kept her at Joliet Women's prison. She will eventually get out though, and since she's not as well-known amongst French Canadians, has indicated she'd still like to stay in Montreal  |

That's the Christian Christmas spirit coming out! You piss and moan that the Christ is being taken out of Christmas but then demonstrate not a wit of empthay or human forgiveness. You're the very reason why people don't give Christian ideals any cred behind Christmas. |

| Didn't she get off lightly because she testified against her husband? At first they didn't realize that she was pretty much as guilty as him -- they thought she was somewhat of a victim, but by the time they realized their mistake it was too late. Am I remembering this correctly? |

Yes, that's the way I remember it as well. The Crown Attorney made a deal with her to testify against her husband, not knowig about the existance of many videotapes the couple made showing their guilt.
I hope that she is butchered for what she did to those girls. |

She and her husband kidnapped innocent girls to use as sex slaves before killing them. She is a monster and she deserves no sympathy. Dude. One of my best friends went out on a double date with Paul Bernardo and worked along side of him. Mmmmm I kinda know the score. My point is a true Christian, as you claim to be, doesn't call for one of God's children to be executed by vigilanties. |

Particularly nasty pieces of human filth get off lightly even if capital punishment is applied. The fact she escaped capital punishment is an even greater affront to society.
Put her in the path of a colony of army ants and ask God to determine her fate.
If God isn't home then ask the ants. |

Perhaps it is my grim optimism, but she won't get a chance to reoffend, or enjoy her illgotten freedom-she's at the top of my deadpool list.
