It's for pronunciation. diagrams of the mouth with the various parts in position for whatever sound you are making.
I need it for a report for my school. |

King,
A Google search turned up this site. It's rough, but may be decent for your own use.
Ah, memories of second year psycholinguistics class... |

my suggestion is to do a search through university courses.
most of the time pictures (of all sorts) will be posted for anatomy, physiology and evolution labs. but make sure to find the lab website not just the course description/website. they never post the good pictures on the course homepage, you'll have to try to find a link to a lab page.
most human anatomy courses/lab sites can be found in the kinesiology departments but there are usually some human physiology/adaptation/vertebrates courses in the biology departments as well.
also, most of the time you can access the lab websites without being a student so it shouldn't be too much of a problem, you just need to take the time to do a thorough search of a course/lab. |

okay,
i found some really good sites.
this on is a search engine that will link you to a particular field (you want biology, and/or anatomy and physiology) and give you tons of good links. most of the links have good and labeled pictures.
http://www.mhhe.com/links/index.html
and this link is to a website on the skull. it has really good pictures- all labeled and i believe all real human skeletons.
http://www.bio.psu.edu/faculty/strauss/anatomy/skel/skeletal.htm
hope this helps
now that i read the other posts here i just wanted to say:
oops, sorry, i thought you wanted pic's of human anatomy... didn't read that post about the tongue positions... sorry |

Bab is actually onto something, however.
A search for uni-based or clinically-based speech comm or speech physiology/pathology would probably do the trick. Linguistics dept. is a decent secondary choice.
