Are there any theatres in the Seoul area that run their new release, non-English movies with English subtitles? Not only would I like to see some of these Korean movies I see advertised everywhere, but I keep seeing bus ads for that new HK-made Jackie Chan movie, plus ads for Kung Fu Hustle (which I've already seen, but would definitely like to see again). And then there's my hope that Godzilla Final Wars gets released over here.

And yeah, I guess a Jackie Chan movie can still be enjoyed even if you can't understand a word said, but you know ... I'd prefer to understand whatever slapped-together plot New Police Story has going for it.

as for movies from other countries, I think you'll either have to attend major film festivals, or wait for the DVDs to come out.
