i've found a new place to get fallafel in seoul! it's yummy and less than at ali babba's. they have shish taouk, gyros and all that all meat kabab stuff, and also fish and chips, which are apparently yummy (i'm a veggie).

it's just down the street from "taco taco"/"chillis" on the noksapyeong road.

check it out!

Are you on crack?

That Turkoid was gonna put KETCHUP on it when I went there. Shocked and barely any meat in it. Hopefully they get their crap together because the few strips of meat that were in there actually tasted quite nice.

For now I think I'll stick with the nice guy that runs around the Itaewon clubs with his styrofoam box of delights.

This guy is a star! Has saved me from beer munchies many a time. Taco van guys rock too and the taco's are only 2500 won. At last reasonable quality little eats in Itaewon for bargain prices. They need to expand their culinary activities to other areas of Seoul.

hehe. this guy is hilarious.
i saw him at OLD TOWN on the hill at 7am. he sat in there for an hour with those things festering in his little styrofoam box. i'm not a seoulite, so i'm not familiar with him.
when i saw him there with that dirty, beat up box, i thought he was some crazy guy trying to make a buck.
are those falafels he sells truly good, or just good drunk food?

anyone go to that lebanese place in hongdae?

The guy running around is my friend Sa-lee.

Used to have a stand opposite Kings Club, but now he roves around with is styrofoam box.

I used to enjoy chatting with him at his little stand with Abraham, but Abraham had to go get into an arranged marriage and isnt about anymore.

But back to the Istanbul thing. Turkoid? No turks or anything there, just a cool Korean guy.

But ketchup? Never seen Ketchup anywhere near where he makes the Kebabs. You sure your talking about Istanbul?

they didn't try to put any ketchup on my fallafel and since i don't eat meat i was just mentioning that they had it. my friends had the fish and chips and said that it was awesome, so i was just reporting on that as well.

it's not the greatest fallafel in the world, but it beats paying 5,000 at ali babba's. and it's close to my house! Very Happy

They were messing around with ketchup and mustard when they first opened. I complained to the kiwi guy there and he told the Korean dude to only use the yogurt/garlic sauce. I've been there several times since and it's been great. The fish and chips is fantastic, too! And it's licenced. Cool joint.

I might have to go there then! I just long for a big fat Doner kebab English style with loads of chili sauce and red cabbage..........You can't beat the old elephant leg!

I'm hungry, have to make do with toast and marmite..... Still yummy though..
