Perhaps someone could help me out with some information here who might have been in a similar situation. Perhaps not. I signed a six month contract but my visa was naturally for one year. I will be starting a new job when this contract finishes at the end of February. My questions are, do I need a release letter, even though my contract will be expired, to get out of the remaining time on my visa? Or do I just send my requirements off to the new school sans a release letter, to get a new visa to replace the old one, and Immigration will see that my contract has expired and so no problem?. Or do I transfer the remaining time to my new school and get a new visa when that expires? Anyone with some answers here.
