Could someone fed-ex their info to an embassy (from Korea) have it processed and fed-ex'd back. Then just fly out on one flight and turn around and come right back?

(Or fly to a country that doesn't have an embassy, then return to Korea)

Maybe...Can you give a clearer example of when and why someone would need to do this? I'm a little confused.

I'm not sure...was just thinking about it...

How about I am in Korea and I need to do a visa run...I could go to Japan and get it done in a day with a rush, or maybe I would rather visit my friend in a country that doesn't have an embassy close by...

If I could do it this way then I could get an employer to "pay" for a visit to a friend instead of a visa run that has no perks other than rushing around...*shrug*

I think maybe you can do the E2 thing by courier, but it takes a lot longer. I seem to remember hearing about people doing it in Canada, before coming here. Surely if it was that simple and cheap though, wouldn't all the hagwons do it, and not pay for trips to Osaka/ Fukoka for us?

They wouldn't save any money because you need to ENTER Korea to have the E2 validated in your passport...In order to enter you need to leave... Smile
