I have to break a contract (must go home for family reasons for awhile)....If I give proper notice, have my boss canel my E2 visa at immigration, can I come back to Korea in a couple months on a tourist visa (note: I won't be looking for another job...so I don't need a Letter of Release)? Once the visa is canelled, is it easy to get back on a Tourist visa or will immigration at the aiport grind me?
Oh, and another thing...what if the boss doesn't go with me to immigration to canel my visa (I can't see why hagwon bosses would want to go out of their way to let you leave legally)...can't he just call immigration by phone and cancel my visa?
