Imagine the reverse situation, if our countries brought in so many Koreans to teach Korean to our kids. Ridiculous as it may sound, just think about it for a second.
I would welcome a sudden influx of hot Korean women, but I sure wouldn't appreciate any of these K guys stealing all of our women. Geez, I already have a hard enough time...
So, now, we have a bunch of Koreans walking around our cities like they own the place. They spit all over the place, push a lot when it's not necessary, and smoke anywhere they please. They complain about the country and generally, act like spoiled children.
They speak Korean, as it's a valuable language, and only a few make any effort to learn English. They expect there to be Korean speakers everywhere, and make fun of the country's people's Korean ability. They create a term called 'Engrean' and make fun of our pronunciation of words we took from Korean. |

What makes you think they don't do that now? |

Hee hee. When the shoe is on the other foot it still seems funny.
Hmmm...what words have we borrowed from Korean? Maybe Taekwondo, perhaps Kim Chi?
I can imagine the complaints about people blowing their noses in public. The sheer amazement at people that don't slurp their soup as loudly as possible.
Yes I do feel sorry for the Koreans having to put up with so many weird English teachers. I can't imagine it would be any different the other way around... |

Is this an attempt to show that westerners would react identically to Koreans in that situation?

As if Korean guys would be stealing 'our' women. They do not or can not do that in Korea, where they are the dominant race. I actually think that most Korean guys probably arent interested because when they see all the foreign guys going after Korean girls, they decide that if their own people dont want them, then white girls cant be that good. |
